Adrian, MI – There will be a brief dedication ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery, in Adrian, for a new Military Monument. The event will take place at 11am Saturday in “Soldier Field,” and is open to the public.
In addition to a monument honoring all branches of United States Military Service, there are two benches near the structure. The monument was donated by Adrian Monuments, and the benches were made possible because of the American Legion Adrian Post 275 and the American Legion Riders Post 315 Brooklyn.
The public is invited to the dedication ceremony, especially area veterans and active service members.
