Tecumseh Asking Voters to Renew Street Millage in November Election

Tecumseh, MI – The City of Tecumseh will be asking voters to renew a street millage this election season. The City is asking voters to approve the municipality borrowing the principal sum of not to exceed three million three hundred eighty thousand dollars…and issue its general obligation unlimited tax bonds payable over a period not to exceed five years and six months.

These funds will be used to pay for the cost of installing, improving, replacing and reconstructing streets and bridges in the City, including necessary rights-of-way.

The City of Tecumseh will hold informational meetings on Monday, October 7th and Monday, October 21st at 6:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
