Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian Police Department recently investigated a shots fired complaint on Church Street, but the call was cleared as unfounded.

Chief Vince Emrick told WLEN News that they were dispatched to the 300 block of East Church Street for the shots fired complaint at around 1:30pm Friday.

Emrick said that officers checked the area and interviewed several people who heard a loud noise but were unable to determine the source. No injuries, damage, or casings were located…and the call was cleared as unfounded.

While checking the area, the APD had contact with an individual with an outstanding bench warrant, and an arrest was made.
