
Douglas “Doug” William Fisher, age 55, of Tecumseh, Michigan, died on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Doug was born on March 14, 1969, in Detroit, MI, the second of Peter Edward and Nancy Jane (Taylor) Fisher’s three children. Doug graduated from Adrian High School in 1987 and went on to attend Washtenaw Community College taking classes to advance his career as a skilled tradesman.
For almost 28 years, Doug was employed with Ford Motor Company as a pipefitter. He enjoyed working in the automotive industry and developed many friendships over the years. When the weather was good, you could count on Doug taking his Mustang convertible out for a drive. He liked to relax by reading and going fishing at his favorite spot. He was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan and looked forward to watching football on Sundays.
Doug will be missed by his siblings, Michael (France) Fisher, Jeffrey (Meredith) Fisher, Jennifer (David) Poore, Licia Willnow, Cay Hedy and Bari (Jan) Campbell; beloved stepmother, Pamela Fisher; wonderful nieces and nephews, Tristen Fisher, Cannon Fisher, Camille Fisher and Claire Fisher; and great friends, Chris (Rose) Schadler, Sean McRobert, and Anne Harrington. He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Fisher; mother, Nancy Reynolds and stepfather, Jim Reynolds.
