
Raisin Twp., MI – A 55-year-old Adrian woman died in a single vehicle crash on East Valley Road in Raisin Township Thursday evening. The Raisin Township Police Department reports that officers, along with members of the Raisin Township Fire Department, responded to the call at around 7:17pm.
The report to first responders said that a vehicle had rolled into a field. The initial investigation revealed that the vehicle lost control before it rolled. The driver, a 55-year-old woman from Adrian, was declared deceased at the scene. The passenger, a 58-year-old man, was transported to an area hospital with suspected serious injuries.
Raisin Township Police and Fire were assisted at the scene by the Adrian Township Police Department, Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police, Lenawee Community Ambulance, and the Lenawee County Investigation Team.
