State Police: Autopsy on Remains Found on Warner Property Does Not Produce Positive ID

Jackson, MI – The Michigan State Police reported Tuesday afternoon that the autopsy has been conducted on the remains that were discovered over the weekend on property owned by Dale Warner. He has been arrested and charged with killing his wife, Dee, who has been missing since April, 2021.

Here is the direct quote from the MSP X account:

“An autopsy was conducted on the remains by the Jackson County Medical Examiner today. However positive ID of the remains was not confirmed. Further testing is needing to positively ID the remains which should be done in the next couple of days. Additionally cause or manner of death has also not been confirmed yet.”
