Adrian, MI – Cambridge Township Police Chief Jeff Paterson was recognized by the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners for his life-saving efforts at the Faster Horses Festival.

WLEN News ran a story earlier this summer about the incident at Michigan International Speedway, where Chief Paterson observed a man carrying a woman…who turned out to be his wife…whose coloring and demeanor indicated she was in distress.

Patterson instructed the man to lay the woman down on the ground, and discovered that she was not breathing. He promptly performed life-saving measures, ultimately resulting in the woman gasping for air and regaining consciousness. When medics arrived, Chief Paterson continued to assist, ensuring that the woman’s condition was stabilized.

The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners formally recognized and commended Cambridge Township Police Chief Jeff Paterson for his heroic efforts and life-saving actions during the Faster Horses Festival.
