Ronald D. Richardson, age 87, of Adrian, died on August 12, 2024 at Toledo Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He was born July 6, 1937 in Tipton to Leon and Elva (Walter) Richardson. On October 12, 1957, he married Janet Elliott in Tecumseh and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2018. Ronald had been employed by Tecumseh Products. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing solitaire, euchre and being an avid Detroit Tigers fan.
Ronald is survived by his children; Kimberly (David) Ruiz of Mesa, Arizona, Terry (Susan) Richardson of Onsted, and Kellie (Ray Illenden) Richardson of Adrian; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents; ten brothers; Robert, Richard, Lynford, Lamont, Raymond, Walt, Leon Jr., Howard, Donald, and William Richardson; and four sisters; Luana Raymond, Wilma Feight-Recker, Winona Pospisal, and Juanita Raymond.
A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor William VanValkenburg officiating. Burial of Ronald and Janet will follow at Lenawee County Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. till noon at the Anderson Funeral Home in Adrian.
