Police Searching for Driver of Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run Crash with Teen on Bicycle

Adrian, MI – Police are still seeking answers in a Friday afternoon hit-and-run in Adrian. The Adrian Police Department reports that at approximately 12:19 pm APD officers were dispatched to a car versus bicycle crash at the intersection of Clinton St and Chestnut St. When officers arrived on scene they found a fourteen-year-old male was riding a bicycle north on Clinton St and was struck by vehicle traveling east bound on Chestnut St.

The victim was transported to the hospital by the Adrian Fire Department with critical injuries. The driver involved in the crash fled the scene, and has not been located. The vehicle was described as silver passenger car or smaller cross over SUV. The vehicle should have damage to the front passenger side.
