Diane Rae Loveland, age 70 of Adrian, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024 under the care of her loving family and Hospice of Lenawee.
Diane was born on January 20, 1954 in Adrian to David and Joyce (Poling) Yensch. She graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1972. She married Danny Loveland in Adrian on June 17, 1972 and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2013. Diane had an unwavering love for Danny and never fully recovered from his passing.
In her free time, Diane enjoyed gardening, craft work and geneaology. She was a member of the Adrian Historical Society. Diane was an animal lover who rescued and cared for many animals, mostly dogs, throughout her years. She was an advocate for Pitbull rescue and donated countless items and gave freely of her time to the cause. Above all else, Diane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as a selfless person who put everyone elses needs above her own. Diane had a close knit group of family and friends that she loved dearly.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ryan (Hillary) Loveland and Benjamin (Rebecca) Loveland, and grandchildren, Kassidy Loveland and Lexie Waltz. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Danny; sister, Christine Sprow and niece, Kellie (Sprow) Howard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Wagley Funeral Home in Adrian. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian.
