Charline was born on June 17, 1956 in Adrian, MI, the daughter of Woodrow D. and Myrna (Brockway) Reynolds, Sr. Charline attended Adrian Public Schools when she was younger and earned her associate’s degree from Jackson Community College in criminal justice.
Charline had a variety of work experiences during her lifetime. She worked at Merillat Cabinetry and Inteva Products in Adrian; and she spent several years down in St. Lucie, Florida as a property manager. When she was younger, Charline was known to go deer hunting and fishing but as she got older, she switched to primarily spending time out on the water fishing. She was an excellent baker and always had energy to go dancing when the opportunity arose. You could count on Charline to be cheering on her University of Michigan Wolverines every football season, watching the games with her family. Charline had many wonderful cats over the years that brought her much joy.
She will be missed by her children, Bruce “Allen” Ruiz (Dawn Lane), Brandon Craig and Brittney (Raymon) Peterson; grandchildren, Coty Havens, Jordan Ruiz, Abigail Craig and Owen Purdy; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mahlon Reynolds and Woodrow Reynolds, Jr.; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her greatly. Charline was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Vickie Preston and several half-siblings.
