Adrian, MI – TLC Community Credit Union is warning members of a recent wave of text message scams.

Here’s what you need to know:
• Scammers might send texts claiming suspicious activity on your account and urging you to click a link to ‘verify’ your information. The current scam is requesting you to click on a link and provide your online banking credentials.
• TLC will never ask for your private information, like: account number, username, pin, or social security number, etcetera through text, call, or email.
• Don’t click on links in suspicious messages, even if they seem to come from TLC.
• If you’re unsure about a message, call TLC directly to confirm.
