Larry Dean Smith, age 82, of Manitou Beach, Michigan, passed away July 7, 2024.
Larry is survived by his wife, Leslie Smith of Manitou Beach, MI, his daughters, Lisa (Gregory) Tripp of Augusta, GA, Kelly (David) Valdez of Onsted, MI, Traci (Earl) McIntyre of Jackson, MI and his son Matthew (Katie) Smith of Hudson, MI; thirteen grandchildren, Gregory (Miranda) Tripp Jr, Brandon (Courtney) Tripp, Joshua (Gena) Tripp, Chelsea (Jake) Harding, Lauren (Jared) LeClercq, Skylar (Jesus) Garcia, Jacob, Devin and Emma McIntyre, Connor, Cole and Luke Smith, thirteen great grandchildren, Gregory Tripp III, Makenzie and Rowen Tripp, Peyton and Oaklie Harding and generations of nieces, nephews and family.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, granddaughter Amanda Kaye Tripp and great granddaughter Madelyn Kaye Tripp.
Funeral services take place 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2024 at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan
with Reverend Pete Valdez officiating.
Visitation will also take place Monday, July 15, 2024 at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan
from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service.
A funeral dinner will follow the funeral service at First Presbyterian Church of Tecumseh, Knox Hall,
211 W. Chicago Boulevard, Tecumseh, Michigan.
