Cole Anthony Raper, age 18, of Hudson, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born in Adrian on March 22, 2006, to Chad and Shantel Raper. Cole recently graduated from Sand Creek High School. First and foremost in his life was his brother, Corbyn. He was very protective of his little brother and his grandmother. He had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor – often brightening the day of anyone with his quick wit and numerous pranks. Cole was very smart, kind, and loyal. Dirt bikes and motorcycles were high on his priority list as well, often popping wheelies for pictures. He was a very hands-on learner, loved to hunt and fish, and had a love for dogs.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Chad (Danielle) Raper and Shantel (Deric Kotnik) Raper; brothers, Corbyn Raper and Keean Briddick; sisters, Arieana and Kyler Briddick; grandparents, Randy and Connie Raper, John Schweikert, and Brian and Audra Shea; and many loving friends and family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Polly A. George; grandfather, Larkin White, Jr.; and his canine companion, Rocko.
Memorial visitation for Cole will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM, at the Eagle-Marry Funeral Home in Hudson. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow for family and friends at Shea’Nanigans in Hudson.
