James A. Hibbard of Tecumseh, MI, passed away on June 10, 2024 at Hospice of Lenawee, Adrian, MI surrounded by his family.
He was born on June 14, 1937 in Ann Arbor, MI to Joseph O. and Mary Hibbard.
Jim graduated from Pioneer High School in 1955. He married Jeannine Irelan on June 11, 1959.
Jim worked for O&W Inc., Ann Arbor, MI for over 46 years and was a proud Teamster Union Steward for many years.
Jim was so proud of all his children and grandchildren and loved them dearly. He is survived by his children Tom Irelan, Tecumseh, MI , Tim (Monica) Irelan, Tecumseh, MI , Holly (Rick) Schuchard, Estero, FL , Jill (Leonard) Iskow, Bad Axe, MI , Leisa (Vern) Still, Tecumseh, MI , Trudi Grossman, Tecumseh, MI, James (Kim) Hibbard, Tecumseh, MI; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife Jeannine and his daughter-in-law Barbara Irelan.
The family is very thankful for all the wonderful care Jim received at Hickman Promedica Hospital and especially Hospice of Lenawee.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Lenawee or a charity of the donor’s choice.
