Loretta “LaLa” Cabose, age 56, of Adrian, Michigan, passed away, June 2, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 27, 1968 in Adrian, Michigan the daughter of James and Judy (Barnett) Edwards. On September 12, 1987 she married Brian H. Cabose in Adrian, Michigan. He survives.
Loretta attended Tecumseh High School. She was employed with Cates Adult Foster Homes, On the Hill.
In addition to her husband Bryan, she is survived by her siblings, Terry (Joyce) Edwards of North Carolina, Barbara (Doyle) Proffitt of Adrian, MI, Connie (Joe) Mattausch of Adrian, MI, Jamie Edwards of Adrian, MI James (Renee) Edwards, Jr. of Adrian, MI and Nathan Edwards of Adrian, MI; many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved; and her beloved canines, “Fifi” and “Milo”, and “Misty”.
She was preceded in death by sister Leisa Edwards, nephew; Phillip Powers, and two nieces; Melissa Mattausch and Cindy Pendleton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan with Pastor Greg Doan officiating. Interment will follow at Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens, Tecumseh, Michigan.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2024 and one hour prior to funeral service Tuesday at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, Tecumseh, MI.
