Adrian, MI – The founder of The Daily Break of Lenawee, Charlene Wielfaert, passed away in Adrian over the weekend at the age of 72. Charlene L. Wielfaert, of Adrian, passed on Saturday at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 8th, 1951, in Adrian, to Ivan and Eva (Atkinson) Shaffer. She graduated from Adrian High School and attended the California College of Respiratory Therapy. On May 17, 1986, she married Daniel Wielfaert. Charlene had been employed by Bixby Medical Center for 18 years.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 31st, at 6 p.m. at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian. Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, May 31st at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.
