Morenci, MI – The City of Morenci Department of Public Works Water Operator-in-Charge lifted the boil water advisory Saturday afternoon.
The City said, in a release over the weekend, that the second consecutive 24-hour test results have come back clear for the City of Morenci water system. This testing has confirmed that the water is safe for consumption and meets all Safe Drinking Water Act regulations.
The City of Morenci thanked residents and businesses for their cooperation and understanding. The boil water advisory was originally issued Thursday, May 9th for all residents who live west of Bean Creek in the City of Morenci.
