Adrian Awarded “MI Neighborhood” Program Grant

Adrian, MI- The City of Adrian applied for, and received, a ‘MI Neighborhood’ program grant award from the Michigan State Housing Development Authority.

In his Weekly Administrator Update Email, Greg Elliott said that the amount being reserved is $472,000 for ‘Component B Rehab’ activities, and administration. The state is using Community Development Block Grant dollars to fund this award.

The funds will be available to low, moderate, and middle-income households for rehabilitation of existing, owner-occupied housing. Elliott talked to WLEN News about the grant…

 

Additional details will be available, likely by June of this year. Elliott says that the grants will be administered over a two-year period.
