Ogden Twp., MI – A 33-year-old man died from injuries sustained in an ORV crash in a field off of Scott Highway. The Michigan State Police Monroe Post did not name the man, or say where he was from, in a Sunday morning news release.

MSP did say that the side-by-side crashed at around 9:30pm Saturday. From evidence at the scene, they determined that the driver lost control of the ORV, rolling it multiple times. The driver was transported to ProMedica Hickman Hospital…where he was pronounced dead.

There was also a passenger in the ORV. They sustained minor injuries. The MSP say that alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash.

The Michigan State Police was assisted by the Madison Township Fire Department-EMS. The investigation is ongoing by the Michigan State Police.
