Adrian, MI – Andrew Winckles of Adrian has filed to run for the Lenawee County Commission. Winckles is running as a Democrat in District 6, which encompasses most of the west side of Adrian. He also ran for the seat in 2022.
Winckles said in a press release that his campaigned is focused on housing and creating good new jobs in the county. He said that he would like to establish a Lenawee County Housing Commission. Winckles also stated that is focused on investing in retraining workers into higher paying professions, specifically pointing to the Michigan Reconnect Program.
Winckles works at Siena Heights University as the Program Coordinator for TRIO Student Support Services. He lives on the west side of Adrian with his wife and three children. Terry Collins currently holds that commission seat.
