Michigan State Police Trooper Involved in Minor Injury Crash

Frenchtown Twp., MI – A trooper from the Monroe Post of the Michigan State Police was involved in a two-car minor injury crash Saturday night. The MSP said that the trooper was responding to an unrelated crash at around 8:45pm, when they collided with a Tesla SUV in the intersection of Telegraph Road and Steward Road.

The Tesla was driven by a 52-year-old male, with a 52-year-old female passenger, and a 16-year-old female passenger. The occupants of the Tesla were uninjured and refused medical treatment on scene. The trooper was evaluated at a local hospital for minor injuries. This incident remains under investigation by the Michigan State Police.
