
Blissfield, MI – The Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program is opening its 2024 pre-application process to crown the 29th Miss River Raisin Festival. The program is for talented young women who seek scholarship, leadership and service opportunities.
The Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program, part of the Miss America Opportunity, has awarded over $185,700 in college scholarships to Lenawee County women over the past 28 competition years.
Potential contestants are being asked to sign up by April 19th and to participate in orientation April 21st. Lenawee County young women who will be at least 18 and no older than 27 as of June 8th, 2025, are invited to seek the title and scholarships offered by the program.
The new Miss River Raisin Festival will preside over the 40th Blissfield summer event, appear at Lenawee County activities, promote her Community Service Initiative and represent the county in the 2025 Miss Michigan Competition. The local competition is a highlight of the River Raisin Festival on July 12th.
