Monroe County, MI – The female found dead in a wooded area off of South Dixie Highway has been identified as a Clinton Township woman.
Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough reported that the death investigation was ongoing when the body was discovered Wednesday.
The female was positively identified as 49-year-old Jenifer Lee Kovenich, of Clinton Township. Detectives have been in communication with the coroner’s office and confirmed that there were no signs of foul play.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office extends its condolences to Jenifer’s family.
