Tecumseh Public Schools Starts Search for Next Superintendent

Tecumseh, MI – The Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education has officially commenced the search for a new superintendent following the retirement announcement of the current Superintendent, Richard Hilderley, in August. Superintendent Hilderley will complete his tenure at Tecumseh Public Schools on June 30th, 2024. The Board of Education has selected the Michigan Association of School Boards to lead the search.

A survey link for community members to fill out will be sent out. Also, the Board and MASB have scheduled meetings to gather insights as part of the search process.

These meetings include a public meeting on Tuesday, January 23rd at 6pm for stakeholder input. There will be a virtual input session two days later. Details are not final on location at this time.
