Adrian, MI – A day that has been years in the making for family and friends of Dee Warner is here. Her husband, Dale Warner, has been arrested and formally charged with murder.

It was a packed courtroom in Adrian for the arraignment Wednesday morning. Lenawee County 2A District Court Judge Laura J. Schaedler presided over the case, which was brought forward by the Lenawee County Prosecutor’s Office.

Dee has been missing without a trace from her Munger Road home, near Tipton, since late April, 2021. Dale has been the prime suspect of many family members from the very beginning, and it was revealed in by a Michigan State Police Detective in Probate Court earlier this year that Dale was the only suspect in Dee’s murder. There is also a case in Probate Court to have Dee legally declared dead, which has somewhat stalled because Judge Catherine Sala has not made a ruling on the matter despite all arguments being made. With no ruling on that case, the prosecution is still moving forward with the murder case.

In District Court this morning, Dale’s legal representation filed ‘not guilty’ pleas on his behalf. He will remain lodged in the Lenawee County Jail until at least his Bond Hearing, scheduled for Monday in Judge Schaedler’s courtroom. Dale was also charged with Evidence Tampering.

This story has garnered massive local, statewide, national, and even international attention. Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy, spoke with reporters after the arraignment. Stay tuned for more on this continuing story.
