
Adrian, MI – The Lucy Wolcott Barnum Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a gathering in Adrian later this month.
Nancy Kujda is the current Regent of the local chapter. She will be talking about the history of the D.A.R. in Adrian as well as the Chapter’s home in the historic Governor Charles Croswell House.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Its members are descended from the patriots who won America’s independence during the Revolutionary War.
The presentation will take place in the Frazier Auditorium on the second floor of the museum in Adrian.
Doors will open at 6:30 with the program beginning at 7:00 P.M. on November 16th, to learn more about the contributions of the organization on the local, state, and national levels. The program is free and open to the public.
