Deerfield, MI – The Village of Deerfield celebrated their sesquicentennial, 150th year, this weekend. The two-day festival included a car show, food trucks, a movie night, flag football, cornhole tournament, a bouncy house, dunk tank, live music, fireworks, and more.

The Village of Deerfield was originally named Kedzie’s Grove. In August of 1837, it was renamed Deerfield because of the numerous deer in the area. The Village was incorporated in 1873.
