Adrian, MI – Lenawee County’s rich agricultural past and present will be on display later this month at the Fair… Michigan’s longest running fair.

The fair originally took place in downtown Adrian between River Street and the River Raisin in 1839.

In 1884, the agricultural society purchased the fair’s current site, on Dean Street. This year, the Lenawee County Fair will run from Sunday, July 23rd through Saturday, July 29th.

The unofficial start takes place in downtown Adrian Sunday at 1pm…with the Fair Parade. The week will feature events at the grandstand and bandshell, including local bands, the Fair Queen Contest, tractor pulls, figure 8 car and truck demo, and a rodeo.
