Adrian, MI – The Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee honored their Youth of the Year, Ellie Loar, at their Awards Breakfast Wednesday morning in Adrian.
Ellie is a Freshman at Hudson high school, and attends the Club’s Hudson extension.
Chris Carter, a two-time youth of the year and current Board member at the the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee, was the keynote speaker at the breakfast. He was also honored with the Man and Youth of the Year award.
Premier Bank was recognized for their consistent and impactful giving and support for the BGC Lenawee since they opened their doors in 2001. They were given the ‘Blue Door Community Award’ by the Club.
The Boys and Girls Club also highlighted their 2023 Junior Youth of the Year Award recipient, Jada Lynn…an Adrian Public Schools Middle-schooler.
It was a great morning for the Club, as they also recognized Executive Director Cody Waters for his recent receipt of the State of Michigan Boys and Girls Club Executive of the Year. Ben Creech also won the 2023 Outstanding Area Council Liaison Award at the statewide level.
