Clinton, MI – The Village of Clinton has declared a snow emergency effective Friday, March 3rd beginning at 12 Noon until Saturday, March 4th at Noon.
The Village says that their goal in declaring a snow emergency is to clean the streets safely and fully from curb to curb without going around vehicles, which allows staff to do their jobs efficiently and not bury vehicles in the snow.
During the snow emergency, the parking of a motor vehicle on the street is prohibited throughout the Village of Clinton.
The parking or standing of a motor vehicle on a public street in the Village shall be prohibited during the time of the declared emergency. Any person who owns or is in control of a vehicle that is in violation shall be subject to fines and costs.
Such motor vehicles may be removed from the Village streets by the Village of Clinton Police Department or its authorized designee, with the costs of such removal paid for by the owner or persons in control of the vehicle.
