Madison Twp., MI – The Madison Public Schools Athletics Department will hold a ‘Veterans Game’ this Friday to honor local Veterans.
Madison Athletic Director Kris Isom said that vets will be recognized at the second basketball game of the evening on the 24th. First, the girls basketball teams will play Hillsdale…and the boys will play Sand Creek in the second game. Veterans will be admitted free.
Madison will have a silent auction, and are currently looking for items to be donated. All the money raised will be given to the local American Legion. They have a fund to help veterans in need, so the money will be donated to local veterans.
Isom said that donations may be dropped off at her office, or drop them off at the high school office. Contact Madison Schools athletics for more information.
