Blissfield, MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office has identified the 19-year-old man killed in a Blissfield Township crash on Monday.
Roger Wiley Preston was in the backseat of a vehicle that lost control while navigating through a curve on Carrol Road just afternoon. The Jeep, driven by a 19-year-old Blissfield man, left the roadway, struck a driveway, went airborne, and crashed into a large tree.
Sheriff’s deputies say that excessive speed appears to be a factor in the crash. The driver sustained a non-life-threatening head injury…the front seat passenger, a 19-year-old Blissfield woman, sustained minor injuries.
The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office will continue to work with the Lenawee County Crash Investigation Team and the Medical Examiner’s Office.
