Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners heard a presentation from Administrator Kim Murphy about the possible allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds at a public meeting Wednesday night in Adrian.
A full chamber, with around 40 members of the public in attendance, were informed about the allowable and not allowable projects, allocation priorities, and a review of the scoring matrix.
Lenawee County was awarded 19 million dollars in ARPA funding from the Federal Government, and the current project applications total around 23 million dollars.
One substantial difference between the proposed ARPA allocation now and earlier this year was the elimination of the Proposed Project Phoenix. Lenawee County Administrator Kim Murphy talked about that change with WLEN News after the meeting…
Murphy continued, clarifying the different types of expenditures and talked about another County asset that would get additional funding based on the most recent draft proposal…
Nothing was approved at the special meeting Wednesday night. WLEN News will have more coverage on the meeting in future stories.
