Monroe County, MI – The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Division assisted in the search for a missing person in Monroe County earlier this week.
Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough reports that multiple departments assisted in the search for a 24-year-old Wayne County man at the Pointe Mouillee State Game area in Berlin Township.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deployed members of their Canine Team and Drone Aviation Unit in conjunction with members of the Berlin Township and Estral Beach Fire Departments to search the vast area of land in an attempt to locate the individual.
Due to the challenging terrain the Sheriff’s Office deployed four members of their Mounted Division as well as five members from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Division. They would later locate the individual…who was deceased.
