Tecumseh, MI – Tecumseh Public Schools voters have a significant bond proposal to approve or deny coming up in May.
What is involved? What will the cost be? These are questions that the district is looking to answer for the public before they decide.
Based on information from the Tecumseh Public Schools website, there are several key features to the bond, including:
- New 135,000 square foot elementary school at the current Tecumseh Acres location
- Upgrades to security systems
- Upgrades to instructional technology
- A remodeled swimming pool at the Middle School
- A new auxiliary gym and music room at the High School
- Athletic upgrades…like new outdoor locker rooms, new athletic equipment, and a new turf field
TPS says that the $75 million bond proposal will not increase the current millage rate.
