Jackson, MI – The Jackson Civil War Muster is celebrating 35 years this Summer! This year, the event will be returning to the historic Cascades Park in late August.
The Jackson Muster is the largest, longest running Civil War event in the Midwest, welcoming people of all ages. Each year, this free event draws 25,000 to 30,000 fans from throughout Michigan, Canada, and destinations as far as Sweden.
They encourage visitors to interact with living historians by stepping back in time into the village of Jacksonburg, and to experience the extravagant military ball, as well as witness the excitement of two battles with raging cannons and marching infantry. The event will be free to the public.
