Police: Subject(s) May have Possessed Toy “Splatter Gun” at Madison Twp. Walmart

Madison Twp., MI – Madison Township Police officers were dispatched to Walmart on Friday night about a subject(s) that may have been in possession of a gun.

Upon arrival, at around 8:15pm, officers were able to determine that subject(s) involved with this incident had a toy “splatter gun” that shoots small water beads.

A release by the Madison Township Police Department said that the store and surrounding areas were checked, and it was discovered that the subject(s) involved had already left the area prior to MTPD officers arriving at Walmart. They were able to determine that no one was in immediate danger and there was no real gun involved.

The Madison Township Police Department is still seeking information on the subjects that may have been involved. The Madison Township Police Department was assisted by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department, Adrian Police Department, and the Blissfield Police Department.
