According to Michigan Department of Corrections Public Information Officer Chris Gautz, John Skelton’s parole interview has been planned for the week of July 25th.

He was convicted of unlawful imprisonment and sentenced to 10 to 15 years in prison back in 2011.

They are required to have a parole interview with Skelton annually, said Gautz in an email to WLEN News. He refused the interview last year, and was denied parole back in 2020.

The Department recently sent notification to any and all registered victims to provide input prior to the parole meeting.

John Skelton is the father of Andrew, Alexander and Tanner Skelton.
