Lenawee County, MI – The Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce and The Tecumseh Area Chamber of Commerce formally announced the completion of an organizational merger and will become the Greater Lenawee Chamber of Commerce.
Conversations of the merger began in January of 2021 following the announcement of TACC Executive Director Vicki Riddle’s retirement plans. Adrian Area Chamber Executive Director and Tecumseh Area Chamber Interim Director Matt Swartzlander will assume the role of Executive Director for the new organization.
The combined organization will initially remain focused on their current memberships in the Adrian and Tecumseh Areas, but has set a path of growth to support business regardless of location and service area throughout the Greater Lenawee County area.
The transition of the organizations will continue through the next weeks and months as they work to roll out new marketing and branding, programs and events, and member benefits.
