Adrian, MI – The following statement was released by State Representative Bronna Kahle late Friday afternoon:

“Today I am announcing that I will not be running for election to the Michigan State Senate. I deliver this news with a deep sense of gratitude to the people of Lenawee County and to the many volunteers whose dedication to our shared values of hard work, common sense, and personal responsibility helped me win three consecutive elections”, Kahle said. “I am especially grateful for my husband, Pat, my steady partner all along the way, and for the priceless encouragement of family, friends, and colleagues over the past six years”.

Kahle, who is term-limited as a state representative, has served the people of the 57th Michigan State House District, which includes most of Lenawee County, since January 1st of 2017. She previously worked as the director of the Adrian Senior Center and as a small business owner in the senior services field.

“I cannot thank the people of Lenawee County enough”, said Rep. Kahle. “I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and am inspired by what we have been able to achieve together. In the eleven months remaining in my term as state representative–and beyond, I am committed to continuing to work hard for us, caring for Michigan families, and staying focused on getting real results for our community”.
