
Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Animal Control Division and the County Treasurer’s office reminds residents to apply for a dog license.
Lower cost pricing runs through February 28th, at $10 for spayed or neutered, and $15 for intact dogs. Prices will increase on March 1st to $20 and $30 respectively. Service Dogs are free.
Proof of being spayed or neutered and a valid rabies certificate is required to be issued a license.
The State of Michigan requires that the owner of a dog that is four or more months old apply for a license. Licenses may be renewed by mail or in person. If you have questions on how to obtain your dog license in your area, contact your local municipality.
