The LISD Tech Center hosted its first annual certified nurse assistant pinning ceremony for students in its Nursing Preparation Program on December 16th. 15 students were pinned with 4 additional students unable to attend.
The program is one of 26 state approved career technical education programs at the LISD Tech Center that is designed to help high school students meet the rigorous nursing school entry requirements. Graduates of the program earn Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
