City of Hudson to Receive Drinking Water Asset Management Grant

Hudson, MI – The City of Hudson will receive a Drinking Water Asset Management grant, totaling over $296,000.

State Representative Bronna Kahle said that the project involves work related to the City of Hudson’s drinking water Asset Management Plan and Distribution System Materials Inventory.

Field verification will be conducted for a minimum of 187 service lines out of their total 933. This includes hydro-excavation of either side of the curb stop and in-building documentation of service line materials.

The city’s drinking water AMP will be updated to include capital improvement planning and a rate sufficiency study.
