Lenawee County, MI- The Lenawee County Board of Health has decided to not vote and not discuss a mask recommendation in K-12 schools at their upcoming meeting.
At a special meeting last week, the board indicated that they would make a recommendation to Health Officer Martha Hall, either for or against a mask mandate.
Chairperson John Tuckerman stated in a release, “The volume of information provided to the board during and subsequent to the special meeting on September 8th, is something that each board member needs time to review and give proper consideration.”
The question may come back before the board at a future meeting.
The regular meeting of the Lenawee County Board of Health will be 4:00 p.m. at the Agricultural Hall at the Fairgrounds in Adrian on Wednesday.
