Hudson Twp., MI – A 23-year-old Adrian man died in a rollover crash that took place in Hudson Township early this morning.
Deputies with the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single vehicle crash at the intersection of Beecher Road and Henning Highway at 1am.
The initial report said that a 2003 GMC Sierra was traveling southbound on Henning Highway at a high rate of speed as it approached the intersection of Beecher Road. The Adrian man lost control, failed to stop at the intersection causing the vehicle to roll over into a field. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and was ejected from the vehicle.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle, a 21-year-old male from Onsted who was wearing a seatbelt, was treated at Hickman Hospital and released. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Hudson Police Department, the Clayton Fire Department and Hudson Fire Departments.
