Lenawee County, MI – Morenci and Cement City have been awarded small-town road funding grants for 2022 from the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The village of Cement City has been awarded over $59,000 toward a $118,137 project to resurface Perrin Street and Potter Street both from Lewis Road to Jackson Street.
The City of Morenci will receive over $151,200 toward a $302,415 project to apply a chip seal and a fog seal to Walnut Court, Clark Street, Wakefield Drive, Lincoln Street, Chestnut Street, Stephenson Street, Coomer Street and Page Street.
