Adrian, MI – A simple fix at Bohn Pool has re-opened the facility for the public starting Sunday, July 18th.
The City of Adrian has been trying to find a solution to a possible leak this spring/summer, and they have found the answer…and it was a relatively simple fix according to City Administrator Greg Elliott…
Bohn Pool will open on Sunday, July 18th, at 1pm. City Administrator Greg Elliott told WLEN News Friday afternoon that the city spent around $2,000 for several businesses to try to find, and fix, the problem. Entry to the pool will be free for everyone from Sunday – Saturday, July 24. Due to the long period of inactivity, a small amount of algae remains in the pool at this time, even after extensive cleaning.
As the pool is used and the water is circulated, the city said that the remaining algae will filter out of the water over the next few days. The water has been tested and is negative for any bacteria.
