Adrian, MI – A semi truck trailer struck a utility pole that supports the traffic light at the US-223 and Wolf Creek Hwy/Sand Creek Hwy intersection on Thursday in Adrian.
The driver was eastbound on US-223 and started to turn right onto southbound Sand Creek Hwy. That’s when the trailer hit the pole and brought the light down, almost onto the roadway.
No injuries were reported at the the scene by the Adrian Police Department. Consumers Energy is working on the utility poles at the intersection. Traffic patterns have been altered so work can be done to clear the scene.
The APD are investigating the crash.
