
Adrian, MI – Adrian’s Rio Doyle’s run on NBC’s singing competition show, ‘The Voice,’ came to an end Monday night.
The 16-year old Tecumseh High School student was knocked out by fellow Michigander, Zania Alaké, a 34-year old single mother from Detroit.
Both were on John Legend’s team and performed against each other in Monday’s third round known as the Knockouts.
Doyle performed ‘Issues’ by Julia Michaels while Alaké sang ‘If I Were Your Woman’ by Gladys Knight.
John Legend chose Zania as his winner of the Knockout.
